Joel Button

Joel received his undergraduate degrees at the University of Minnesota, focusing on European History, German and Latin. In a nod to practicality, Joel followed in the footsteps of his wife and earned his teaching license at the University of St Thomas. Joel taught history and German at Stillwater High School and at New Heights Charter School, where he then started his career as a school administrator. Over the next years, as the Button family grew, they moved to Ohio and then to Iowa, to work at an international boarding school. During this time, Joel completed his Masters of Educational Administration and Principal license. In 2005, the Button Family left Iowa and returned again to Stillwater where Joel began attending William Mitchell School of Law. Joel enjoys ultrarunning and seeking out the next epic adventure.
